IAF Agniveer Vayu Physical Standard Test (PFT) Requirements
- Height: Minimum 152.5 cms (Male) | Minimum 152 cms (Female)
- Chest (Male): Minimum 77 cms with an expansion capacity of at least 5 cms.
- Chest (Female): Well proportioned with an expansion capacity of at least 5 cms.
- Running: 1.6 Km run to be completed within specified time limits.
- Other Exercises: 10 Sit-ups, 10 Push-ups, and 15 Squats (Varying time brackets for physical efficiency checks).
Benefits of Joining Indian Air Force Under Agnipath Scheme
- Service Period: 4 Years of service in the Indian Air Force.
- Salary Package: Rs. 30,000/- per month in the 1st year up to Rs. 40,000/- per month in the 4th year along with tailored allowances.
- Seva Nidhi Package: After completing 4 years, a lump sum amount of approximately Rs. 10.04 Lakhs (plus interest) will be given.
- Life Insurance Cover: Non-contributory life insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakhs during the service period.
- Agniveer Skill Certificate: A skill assessment profile certificate will be provided at the end of the tenure.

- Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2027 notification. Candidates can apply between 06 July 2026 to 26 July 2026.
- Before applying online, candidates must read the official guidelines and notifications carefully.
- Keep all scanned documents ready: Passport-size Photograph (taken with a black slate held in front of the chest containing candidate’s name and date of photograph taken written clearly with white chalk), Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and Parent’s Signature (if candidate is below 18 years).

- Pay the required application fee of Rs. 550/- + GST via online mode. Applications without fees will be rejected.
